New features on the way!

After launching our new debit cards last year, we promised we'd be adding some new features you told us you wanted.

The biggest feedback we heard after the launch was that members were frustrated they couldn’t use their card for online payments with certain companies.

Some companies won’t accept our cards because we’re not registered with 3D Secure (3DS).

We originally decided not to sign up with 3DS because of the high cost, but with more companies using 3DS, we’ve seen and heard the impact it was having on members wanting to use their PCU card online.

Thanks to this feedback, we're happy to confirm we're investing in making our cards compatible with 3DS!

But wait, there's more!

We’ve got Apple Pay and Google Pay on the horizon, as well as some other things we reckon members will love, including:

💳  payWave and online payment control
You'll have the option to turn payWave and online payment features on and off as you need. So, if you don’t want payWave enabled, or want to turn off online payments so your card only works for EFTPOS or ATM transactions, you’ll be able to manage it in our mobile banking app.

📲 Digital Card
The second you order a new card, you'll see it as a Digital Card in your Mobile Banking app! It'll be ready to use immediately for online shopping while you wait for your physical card to arrive. You'll also be able to add it to your Apple Pay or Google Pay at the same time.

🖥️ Dynamic Card Verification Code (CVC)
Love making online purchases but feel nervous about your card info being stolen? You’ll be able to generate a temporary CVC for your card when making online payments to protect your card info.

📱 Order a card through our app
Lost your card or need a replacement? You’ll be able to order a new one in our mobile banking app.
