Police and Families Credit union now offers you a multi-purpose debit card that not only offers 24 x 7 access to your savings but can also provide you with a line of credit up to a maximum of $5000.00
You can use your line of credit to draw cash at ATM's or make purchases using EFTPOS.
Each month you will receive a statement for your Bluecredit account showing all transactions and the minimum payment you must make. You must pay a minimum of 5% of the outstanding balance or pay any extra amount you wish, including payment of the total outstanding debit balance - the choice is yours.
You decide how you wish to pay, and there are a number of options available.
- Fortnightly salary deduction
- Transfer from savings via the internet
- By telephone banking transfer
- By cheque
What you need to know
- Each advance incurs a fee of $2.00* No account keeping fee
- A low debit interest rate in comparison to credit cards
- Minimum monthly payment is 5% of the outstanding debt balance
- One card for savings and Bluecredit. Select "savings" for transactions from your savings account and "cheque" for Bluecredit transactions.
